I can’t believe I can still help with my sister’s math problem.
A van and lorry left town B for A at 80km/h and 60km/h respectively. At the same time, a car left town A for B at 120km/h.
2 minutes after passing the van, the car passed the lorry.
How far apart are the 2 towns?
[Update] Answer after the jump!

So today my father and I accompanied my mother to kk hospital for her monthly checkup with her physician in palliative care. She was prescibed 15 painkiller patches. Unfortunately for us the pharmacy doesn’t stock the afore-mentioned drug thus we had to go to another pharmacy at the general hospital. An hour later, I was told at the new pharmacy that the physician had wrote ‘15′ instead of spelling out ‘fifteen’ and thus the prescription couldn’t be processed.
Lady in white over the counter said,
“I’m just following the law system.”
I replied,
“My mum needs her painkiller tonight, what am I supposed to do?”
At the end of the day, I left the place with 1 patch which is supposed to battle her pain until I get the mistake fixed.
Our physician wanted to, and had prescribed 15 patches.
The lady at the counter knew that we had been prescribed 15 patches.
My mother needs 15 patches. So what is stopping the prescription?
Just for the record, it is nobody’s fault. I understand it is absolute to adhere to the legal system for controlled drugs. But someone could have easily called to match the prescription with the doctor. Lot of time could be saved.
Lady in white over the counter said,
“It’s like issuing a cheque.”
Makes my blood boil.

After he left, I felt like I had enough inspiration to last me quite a while :-)
Hush Baby, hush

I had this pet project which has been dwelling in my head since last year. You know, that kind of inspiration which I know has to be dealt with; otherwise it will just keep growing and never go away. It’s called ‘Hush Baby, hush’ and I am excited and scared the shit out of it because the stop motion bits is done and now the real work has just begun. It is about a baby in trauma (HA! like me!). I seriously need to do some comedies, but then again, you’ll never know what will come to mind next.
On other news, it’s animation night at *scape youth park next Wednesday! Admission is free and there will be food and drinks to munch and slurp during the event! There are other nightly screenings as well, just turn your head here.

Came across this in a book by David Mamet, on directing film :
Alice said to the Cheshire Cat, “which road should I take?” And the Cheshire Cat said, “where do you want to go?” And Alice said, “I don’t care.” And the Cheshire Cat said, “then it doesn’t matter which road you take.”
Applies to a lot of things besides film, doesn’t it?
