A6 /future/

a6_future_logoI am participating in the A6 /future/ project which is a collaboration between 22 illustrators from both Singapore and the UK. Here’s how it works:

Each illustrator will be tasked to pose a question on what he/she feels about the future – express these thoughts through illustrations on half an A6 postcard, before posting them to another illustrator. He/she will then think of a possible answer to complete the template. There will be a mutual exchange of ideas between artists. They are also encouraged to be both imaginative and inspiring in this process.

Presented by creative [SIN]ergy and Supported by the Singapore International Foundation, the Central Illustration Agency and Tiger Beer.

Hush Baby was awarded the Special Mention award at the award ceremony of 22nd Singapore International Film Festival last night. I was so over the cloud that, even though I had my ‘thank-you’ speech memorised (which the audience must be aware of), I forgot the entire list of names whom I am thankful for, and would like to extend this award to them. Zihan, Vanessa, Henry, Harry, Thomas, Lincoln and Bernard. I think I am fortunate to have met friends and loved ones who believed in me enough to spend time, effort and money on Hush Baby, so thank you all.

Pictures from the night! (more…)
