This year, we offer international SVs the home-stay option, where local students are encouraged to host international students at their homes during SIGGRAPH Asia 2010 in our effort to provide an experience that bridges cultural and language differences and disciplines, and encourage networking, communication, and collaboration amongst students from all over the world.

It’s like an itch I can’t reach. A couple of animation which I would like to watch, but haven’t had the opportunity to. “My Dog Tulip” is an animation feature scheduled to screen at ITFS’10 but didn’t. Imagine my excitement and disappointment. I have to look harder, having my eyes peeled for them in Tokyo and Singapore.

These pictures were taken along the Meguro river on my daily cycle to work. This year’s sakura trees started flowering around the last week of March and its best viewing period is around first two weeks of April. And it’s so nice to have sakura trees just right outside my house.
I am late in posting these pictures. The flowers are mostly gone now and the greens are out!
‘Hush Baby’ is selected for Internationale Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart, Germany, which is taking place 4-9 May ‘10. It is competing in the ‘Young Animation’ category, screening on 5 and 6 May. Really looking forward to the event and hope that plans would work out nicely for me to be there. For now, the trailer for this year’s festival is really cool, here’s it:
The baby will next be crying at Anifest 2010, Czech Republic. So exciting!
